Paintings, Stories and Details
I don’t really do landscape paintings, but my wife and I love going off the beaten track and whenever there is a gravel road, our car persuades us to take it and to see where it leads us to. If we see something that we think is worthwhile capturing on our cell phones, we do so. Some of them then land onto the easel. Here are some of the results, mostly photographed by me.
Swartberg Pass
The Story
We travelled from Prince Albert home, via the Swartberg Pass. Looking back in my rearview mirror, I saw this picture. We stopped and I captured the image, which immediately went onto my painting list.
